Beyond the Runway Spring Transformation Workshop
This spring, CatWalk Pros Academy hosted the Beyond the Runway Spring Transformation Workshop, a six-week program designed to build confidence, polish runway skills, and strengthen etiquette, styling, and self-expression.
“I truly enjoyed being a part of this Spring workshop. It has been a very informative and yet fun experience for me. “
The program culminated in an extraordinary opportunity for our students to step into the spotlight at the 3rd Annual Tierra, Viento, Fuego, Agua sustainable fashion show, held on April 26, 2025, at the Doral Contemporary Art Museum (DORCAM). On this grand stage, our youth models showcased everything they learned—walking with poise, turning with confidence, and embodying the transformation they achieved over the course of the workshop.
In addition to our student models, the evening also celebrated the future of fashion through the Student Design Competition, where four emerging designers—including three from Miami Dade College and one talented high school student—presented eco-conscious, three-piece collections.

🥇 1st Place: Louise Romain – Sustainable Menswear
🥈 2nd Place: Maredy Narea – Sculptural Papier-Mâché Dresses
All four student designers received laptops from PTS International, and the first and second-place winners were honored with two-page features in Women’s Breaking Barriers Magazine.
Together, the workshop and competition embodied the spirit of Tierra, Viento, Fuego, Agua—fashion, art, and sustainability coming together to empower the next generation of creators and changemakers.

In addition to modeling skills, we emphasize the importance of etiquette and manners in the fashion industry and beyond. Participants will learn proper etiquette for social interactions, dining, and professional settings, empowering them to navigate various situations with confidence and respect
